Here are a few sound samples for all to enjoy: http://www.octpia.com/kodama/body-news.html

Thanks for the link to 'octpia' Bytor!
I didn't buy the Kodama album, but I've ordered these 2:

Damn, those look fantastic!

I worked at a record show yesterday; picked up a beautifully die-cut reissue of "Heavy Petting" by Dr. Strangely Strange, as welll as the Teenage Panzercorps LP on Siltbreeze.

The biggest moment of painful willpower: turning down an original pressing of Bobby Beausoleil's soundtrack to Lucifer Rising, signed by Kenneth freaking Anger. $125.00 would have been cheap for that, but I just couldn't do it right now. And it sold.....

pokkeherrie 02.15.2009 12:31 PM

I don't think I could pay $125.00 for any record, not until I have money to burn anyway.
I'm still waiting for my copy of the Teenage Panzerkorps LP... it's been almost 3 weeks and I still haven't heard from Siltbreeze yet. :(

Jeez! I wish I'd been there! I'd have happily paid $125 for it.
Signed by Kenneth Anger! Awesome!

A Keith Levene solo 12" or whatever.... I can't play either of the records I got, because my player doesn't work, I lent them out to my lover as a result of that.

Levene / Yes- Relayer - each records

from Atomic Records, a sadly defunct record store with a both rich and longstanding history in the Milwaukee area.

And Best Buy still stands. Adds instruments to their stock of sold items, along with alligator skin purses and Radiohead records. Don't get me wrong I love Radiohead but I hate the idea of anyone buying an album for THAT MUCH from "BEST" BUY... and because of its fashionable as well....very distasteful.

Last night me and a few friends had to run down to galveston to help out one of my relatives. Turned out to be a pretty profitable trip.
At the walmart there (I know I know.. but I can never find this one):

And, at some garage sale, I found, for $2, What will surely be able to protect me from the economy, and help me morgatge my house.

I can never find ANY of the three Hot Boys albums! I've only heard the singles on youtube. Sucks. But um, if you bought it at walmart then it's the clean version isn't it??? I don't think I could deal with that.

Unbelievable luck on the Nirvana single though. How much?

viewtiful_alan 02.25.2009 03:46 PM

For $2, the it was in a box of seven inch singles.. I honestly just found that and stopped looking. THe prices were uniform, so all the singles were 2 bucks.

And no its not hte cleaned up version oddly enough. I checked.
