What do you mean a term "Bad Band"? Do mean, that there is some bands, you can´t listen even though you like them? It doesn´t matter to me if I lost my "music credibility" to listening totally "wrong" band.

I'm pretty sure it was a TR-606...you're thinking of the TB-303 Bass Line, the sound of acid.

haha yeah, you're right, I fucked up...

dionysusundone 08.05.2010 12:56 PM

How can anyone not like the vocals on "Dead Billy"! They kick ass!

viewtiful alan redux 08.05.2010 02:05 PM

Kanye's Work Out Plan by Kanye West... this one just sucks

everything the rolling stones have made since tattoo you

let's dance - bowie

DeadDiscoDildo 08.06.2010 02:26 AM

Come back is one of my favorite misfits songs. Because it doesn't even sound like the misfits. Great garage rock ballad, if you will.

Haha...I like Surfin bird...but it's not my favorite.

Dr. Eugene Felikson 08.06.2010 02:37 AM

Sonic Youth - Do You Believe In Rapture
ICP - The Shaggy Show (Not even Snoop's sick verse could save this)
ICP - Thy Unveiling
Beastie Boys - Girls
Ice Cube - A Gangsta's Fairytale
Three Six Mafia - Lolli Lolli
KoRn - Politics

And any Dinosaur Jr. track that sounds like a cowboy whining about his dead horse...

atsonicpark 08.06.2010 03:54 AM

korn has a song called politics?!

Dr. Eugene Felikson 08.06.2010 04:07 AM

Pretty much anything off of "Untitled" is awful.

Satan 08.06.2010 07:27 AM

surfin bird makes me want to commit suicide

Rob Instigator 08.06.2010 08:47 AM

Come Back by Misfits is too slow, it ruins the flow, it lasts about 2 minutes too long...

Torn Curtain 08.06.2010 03:44 PM

Jeff Buckley - Your flesh is so nice
The Cure - The walk
SY - Hotwire my heart
Joy Division - These days
Blonde Redhead - In particular
Bob Dylan - Lily, Rosemary And The Jack Of Hearts
Neil Young - Are you ready for the country / Come on baby let's go downtown
Smashing Pumpkins - Tales of a scorched earth
Siouxsie & The Banshees - Slowdive

Count Mecha 08.06.2010 04:53 PM

The thing I love about Come Back is it's pretty much the EPIC of the Glenn era catalog. It's easily the longest one (at BARELY five minutes) and it's slow. What's the next longest one, Hatebreeders? Little over three minutes. It's like a lone ballad. I think it's great. But I could see how someone wouldn't be into it. It's kind of like the I Luv I Jah of the Misfits. Love that song too.

demonrail666 08.06.2010 05:15 PM

Can't think of ten, but ...

I Don't Wanna Grow up - The Ramones (the most unnecessary self parody ever)

Maxwell's Silver Hammer - The Beatles (just appalling)

Green Door - The Cramps (pointless)

Eat Yrself Fitter - The Fall (sounds too 'wacky')

Boris the Spider - The Who (unlistenable)

Changes - Black Sabbath (just wrong)

Hurricane - Bob Dylan (makes me cringe)

Student Demonstration Time - The Beach Boys (ditto)

India Song - Big Star (embarrassing)

Night of the Shape - Electric Wizard (crap idea)

dionysusundone 08.06.2010 06:26 PM

Joy Division-Atrocity Exhibition

this one's always rubbed me the wrong way

atsonicpark 08.07.2010 06:06 AM

I think it's a bit long and boring too!

Jeremy 08.07.2010 06:51 AM

You two are crazy! That song is awesome!

God yeah, "I dont wanna grow up" sucks so bad.

Though, I rather like "eat yrself fitter" because when I listen to the Fall I know Im getting into something already wacky and usually want them to be as crazy as possible.

I love the keys or whatever synth is on that song.

Maxwell's Silver Hammer has always confused the fuck out of me. Just another Paul song trying to rip off John's Acid lyrics and failing HORRIBLEY. Paul McCartney singing a silly song with fucked up lyrics about murdering and being a sadist isn't hip. It's especially infuriating to me because usually their songs weren't pointless. John did the philosophy and paul did the romantic shit. It was a good formula.

DeadDiscoDildo 08.07.2010 03:31 PM

Ok, I'll give this a shot.

No order.

1. Spank Thru-Nirvana
2. Sloop John B-Beach Boys (ugggggh)
3. (going to have to 2nd Maxwell's Silver Hammer)-Beatles
4. Can't Dance-Black Lips
5. Cool it down-Velvet Underground (just can't get into it, sounds like shit at sports bars that old ppl dance to)
6. eh I'm tapped out here fuck this haha

EVOLghost 08.07.2010 03:34 PM

Spank thru really??? WTF man that song us fantastic!!!

Are you serious? If I have to decide the best Pink Floyd song, it might be Atom Heart. Of course everybody have right to have own opinions, but do you have opinion, that Atom Heart is worse than the eighties and nineties material?

Count Mecha 08.08.2010 01:19 AM

Nothing is worse than those last four albums they did.

i like the final cut, but i'll agree about the other three.

atom heart mother (the title track) is pretty damn overblown, to put it lightly. definitely up there with their worst.

The part where he screams is cool but the rest of it I hate his voice and the music sounds like bad meat puppets rip off.

If the song was just based on the parts where the distortion kicks in and he screams on the verses, and he wrote a better chorus for it, I would dig it.

I think the whole Atom Heart Mother album is awesome! The best of theirs! Also the title-track is great! Of course it´s not easylistening track. At first I didn´t like the album as much as for example the dark side. But when I have listened it many times in many years, I have found there something, that touch much more deeper feelings inside me as the Dark Side. It´s very unique album in Pink Floyd´s material and very unique also worldwide. Only some songs in Björk´s Medulla remind me that album. I find it interesting also because there´s something from the old, psychedelic Floyd and something that is coming in next Floyd´s albums. That´s the reason, why I also like the Who album "Who sell out". It´t a combination of their early energy and later masterpieces.

Rat Fink - The Misfits

loubarret 08.17.2010 06:17 AM

1 Amity-Elliott Smith
2 Tender-Blur(that choir, that fucking sterotypical choir)
3 Poledo-Dinosaur JR(this coming from a major sebadoh fan)
4 The last two Bill Callahan albums
5 Yellow Raspberry-Xiu Xiu

atsonicpark 08.17.2010 07:12 AM

Man, Spank Thru is one of Nirvana's best songs...

HA! That's really funny. Not sure if I agree completely with it but it was certainly funny to read.

Rob Instigator 08.23.2010 02:24 PM

I love maxwell's silver hammer. wats wrong with songs bout killin? in a vaudeville manner?

LifeDistortion 08.23.2010 02:32 PM

We Will Fall -The Stooges Talk about dragging an album down with one song.

Hunting Bears-Radiohead

I put up with Mother Nature's Son for Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except for me and my Monkey -The Beatles

Sad Eyed Lady of the Low Lands -Bob Dylan. Again, too slow and too long. Just like We Will Fall

Pixes-Silver

Cough/Cool Misfits (sensing a pattern here?)

Does that mean you don't like the Tom Waits song? Or just the Ramones cover of it?
