I'm new to this board and the hilarity is just amazing!

Any non ironic/sarcastic replies to the original question would be appreciated.

I'd be down for a little Ono Soul while taking a shot of space-blood to the face!

The Entrance Band features Paz, who was in A Perfect Circle --> A Perfect Circle currently features James Iha, who was also in the Smashing Pumpkins--> Smashing Pumpkins also featured Melissa Auf der Mar, who was in Hole--> Hole featured Courtney Love, who was married to Kurt Cobain of Nirvana(whom she performed with on 'It's Closing Soon') --> Nirvana was an opening act for Sonic Youth...

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKKKKK

joe11121 05.17.2009 09:02 PM

^ Neat

Peterpuff 05.17.2009 10:22 PM

Oh no! Please tell me that they are not ending on the 13th....I am going to the Tulsa/Cain's show on the 16th, and too have had a very LONG-standing crush on Paz. Even though I am not too into this Entrance Band stuff...I would love to see her on the stage before SY. And to be honest...it does sound like it might be decent live music at least.

*edit...well, looks like Awesome Color is opening the Cain's show...so that should still be cool.*

Eli Renfro 05.18.2009 10:32 AM

Awesome Color is opening the Denver show, too. I would have preferred the Entrance Band, but whatever.

whatabout a reformed-but-shouldn't-have classic rock band: grateful dead, yes, led zep as openers?

Alexander 05.18.2009 07:48 PM

I would have much preferred Awesome Color as the opener for the Toronto date.

negative8ball 05.20.2009 08:36 AM

Don't know Awesome Color - but Entrance Band don't sound too bad... my only complaint is that I'd rather SY had just played longer... but they may yet do a long set, right? [smirk]

Bollocks_to_Pop 05.20.2009 01:03 PM

I'm really really tired of seeing Awesome Color. I saw them when they opened up for SY during the Rather Ripped tour. I saw them when they opened up for Dinosaur Jr a year later. And you know what? They're really BORING. Why SY, why?
