My first live act was a Japanese composer/artist whose name i can never spell. The first band i ever had a ticket for live was Nirvana in April 1994. I didn't go and have been pissed off about it ever since. I think the first band i actually saw live was some nonsense like Apes, Pigs and Spacemen

luxinterior - NICE Sleater-Kinney pics!!!!
My first REAL show - the eye opening show - was a noise show out in Cincinnati, OH with Robert Inhuman, Being, and SX. I had no clue what the hell noise was, I was so intrigued with everything. It was amazing. Thank god to my boyfriend, his brother's noise, Being, was amazing. He had old TV's with nothing but static in the background and spraypainted words like War, Oil, Bush, Money, etc...all on them. And then he busted the shit out of all of them. It was ridiculously amazing. |
I went to a radio show for my first concert.
December 1996 Kome Almost Acoustic Xmas in San Jose, Ca Line up: The Eels Stabbing Westward Gravity Kills Failure (replacement for The Butthole Surfers who dropped out of the show) Republica The Lemonheads Poe Tracy Bonham Fun Lovin' Criminals Face to Face I might have missed a few acts, more or less this is it. |

First through peer pressure: Bad Manners at the East Ham Odeon.
First through choice: Swans at the Forum (then the Town and Country Club). Both V. scary gigs, albeit for VERY different reasons. |

Oops, didn't realise I hadn't! The Jam, farewell tour, 1982 at Wembley Arena. Supported by Big Country (so I suppose BC were the first live band I actually saw). |

I don't know about it being infamous but I wouldn't be surprised. It was definitely the loudest thing I've ever heard. Remember people throwing up at the front. It was in about '87 so it was the point before they started going more acoustic. I was genuinely deaf for about three or four days afterwards. My parents were really freaking out, thinking I'd been damaged for life by that evil rock music. |

I'll know where to find you! How many international schools are there in The Hague anyway? I'm guessing just one...

Oh, Buzzo maaaaan! Are you so oblivious to your own surroundings that you can't even decide how many international schools are where you live?
|

http://www.ishthehague.nl/students/nationalities according to their list of nationalities they only have 6 serbian/montenegrin students... so you shouldn't be too hard to find! :) I suppose they don't give any spankings, do they? that's a shame... just kidding, buzzo |
