Double Bass.

Jazz guitar, a really technical style that takes years to get down. Or you have to be born with natural talent...bastards.

Bagpipes. Lou Reed once said in an interview by one of the "superstars" he would like to have lots of bagpipes playing all at once. Imagine that!

Piano/keyboards.....I can come up with some pretty awesome stuff, but I don't know what the hell I'm doing.

harpsicord or cello

I reckon some point soon I'm going to buy either Uillean bagpipes or an er-hu. I can play quite a few instruments, the one I'd most like to be better at is violin - bearing in mind I'm pretty good, I'd like to be concert-standard (which, having not played it since I was an amoeba, is incredibly unlikely).

I'm also tempted to get better at keyed instruments - I have a bit of a blind spot for keyboards. I've been teaching myself lately, and it just doesn't satisfy me terribly. Maybe I should get a hurdy-gurdy?

Oh, and I'd like to be able to understand the raags and stuff of tablas. I have a set, and I'm ok, but my lack of any formal training on it means I miss out on a lot.

I'd like to own a cello and a French horn at some point, because I've found both incredibly satisfying when I've played them. Even though I could barely muster a C major on the horn.

The instrument I play now is guitar, but I don't really like it.

My fingers are very long and thin, I've had many people tell me that I should play piano. I've thought about taking lessons, but I'm crap when it comes to actually practicing.

If I had my way, I'd be like this man:

i play the guitar, the bass guitar, stand up bass, and i dabble with the piano

i got a sitar for christmas but have not gone to any of the lessons.
