yeh, what you guys use to record. and how is the beats composed, do you all sit around and jam and record or is it detaild and thought out?

porkmarras 01.04.2007 11:26 AM

It depends.I was once drumming on my chest and i happened to have the minidisc set to record so i listened back, sampled my hands drumming on my chest, looped it and used it as a beat to play on top.

ALIEN ANAL 01.04.2007 11:29 AM

awesome, yeh i bought a 4 track to be able to grab for spontanoius beats ,but i found just having my mp3 around is way better, it has a sweet mic and its so easy to store stuff.

If i knew how to host beats other than myspace i would be able to join in collabs with your dudes.

you should be punched in the face for calling it shitty. Those are sweet, really dig the first one. I like your feet too, i love drawing feet.

ploesj 01.04.2007 01:01 PM

it depends. when i'm doodling, i use pen right away. when i'm making a bigger drawing i like putting the basic shapes out first before i start in pen-definitely when drawing humans.

if I am doing a serious portrait I do it in pencil first. then I go over it with pen and ink or with brush and ink. in this example it was pencil then gouache (opaque watercolors) this is my girlfriend AND her dad

Otherwise I do it straight pen and ink first andjust draw it.
this is isaac asimov
