i bought their first album on the basis that it was urusei yatsura type glasgow indie, it was ok, a couple of good tunes, i haven't listened to it in probably 6 or 7 years though

Did you use to buy Yummy Fur 7''s at that time?I used to buy only scottish indie and that time.Little did i know that two of them would end up in Franz Ferdinand at one point and certainly i didn't think that Snow Patrol would re-surface as successful people.

I almost got to see them this summer at the Seattle Endfest but they pulled out the day before because they got stuck in Britain.

They suck... Hang on, no they don't. For a second there I was just conforming like everybody else on this board seems to do. I only own one of their albums, Final straw, and it's good. I don't know what their new stuff is like. But the album I own is not comparable to Coldplay or U2. I can't fucking stand Coldplay.

Well, sometimes you can't help but conform because Snow Patrol really are that shit.

They really bore me. Plus, the new single is absolutely horrendous.
