Johnny Depp was famous then, he's been famous since the 80s |
Oh, everywhere I've seen that's written about that video has said it's "directed by Johnny Depp before his fame" but you're probably right, I'm not too knowledgable of him anyway.
EDIT: Oh, he was the jock in A Nightmare on Elm Street. Fuck hahaha. |
it's before he was famous for being in Pirates of The Carribean though
|
he became famous in 21 jumpstreet. a ridiculous show available online if you want to laugh at the 80s. the hairdos are priceless.

not my personal number 1, but I definately think one of the most underglorified musicians of the past 30 years. |
i don't have a problem with the word or its overuse. it's just that when someone labels something "pretentious" the critique usually stops there. that irks me more than the word itself.
|
It's only really used by people who dread opinionated people and don't have any manner of defence against them because they prefer not being challenged. Give me a person who has strong views about something, regardless of mutual agreement, over an apathetic waste of space any time.

Johnny Depp has been famous since he grew a pube.
John Frusciante is further proof that Captain Beefheart inspired all the best musicians ever. He shot up, painted, and listened to Beefheart every day for 12 hours a day for a year. Sounds awesome. |
And obsessively studied Burroughs.
|
EVERYONE, at least watch part 3... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DgCQ...eature=related ... most amazing thing ever.
interview: "what did you think when Kurt Cobain died?" john: "I cried. I dunno why.. his music was awful." and then a cigarette falls out of his mouth, he nearly falls off a couch, he talks about he's frightened by the camera taking his soul, he said he doesn't understand why anyone would kill themselves when they can slam dance with their daughter. AMAZING! |

cool, thanks, didn't know he was into godard an herog
|
I listened to an interview where he said he obsessively watched Blue Velvet and Eraserhead as a teenager (while he wasn't jerking off or playing guitar).
He changed his mind on Nirvana in later years though, covering 'Lounge Act' in some live shows. |
