When I saw the National live they were really boring.
|
i wouldn't use the en-e-my to wipe my ass
|
The National are fucking shit and have some of the worst lyrics ever
'sometimes you get up and bake a cake or something' oh my god fuck off |
|
the national are awesome. i couldn't give a fuck about the rest of those bands.

The National do sound good. One can't help but compare them slightly to Interpol.
|
I love being out of touch
|
So NME's criteria of good American bands is based around how English they sound?
The National are OK, but I don't think I could listen to them for too long. |
the drums are terrible... and i usually go for that faux-surf indie pop bullshit.
derp. i love dum dum girls. also i can't comprehend why the national are so HUUUUGE right now. |
dum dum girls and titus andronicus play around brooklyn but I've never head them, never heard of the others but frankly, any kudos from NME probably means they're disposable.

Here's what the NME thought of The Drums eponymously titled debut album.

I can't decide if I like the Drums or hate them
|
Is it true that David Pajo joined Interpol?
|
Yes.
|

he was in fucking zwan.
he's already dead. |
They also got that Secret Machines guy (their first EP was alright, and I remember thinking the first album was okay years ago). I'm totally uninterested in Interpol, but I wonder if Pajo will bring something new to the table.
Forgot that he was in Zwan... hahaha. Need to pay the bills somehow. |
