Love em. I have a few of their SST records, including Zen Arcade on clear blue vinyl.

Why dont you give Everything Falls Apart some love? I think it's a damn good record. Snappy lil tunes filled with anger:D

Zen Arcade and Flip Your Wig are my favorites.....been listening to Sugar for the first time since high school in the past 2 weeks.

Husker Du! They are also in my top 5 as of late. I just bought Everything Falls Apart and love it. The harmonics on that song are super cool. You should post that show up CHOUT.

Top 5 Husker songs
1.Pink Turns to Blue
2.I don't want to know if you are lonely
3.Charity, Chastity, Prudence, And Hope
4.Celebrated Summer
5.Plans I Make

I got an unopened copy of EFA a few years back. Rumor was that Greg Norton got shafted on the royalties of the reissue and either printed up a bunch of vinyl copies or unearthed a bunch of NOS copies (probably the latter) and sold them to a local record store to get some cash.

The '80 show is interesting because it's their pre speedy hardcore period. The songs are still rockin' but not as fast as they would soon get.

I'll try and have it up friday or saturday.

Here's the 5/7/80 Longhorn Mpls show. It's actually not a soundboard, but a good sounding audience recording. Lots of unreleased songs.

Artist: Hüsker Dü
Date Recorded: 07 May 1980
Location: Longhorn Bar, Minneapolis
Recording Quality: A-
Time: 66:24
Notes: Pretty decent audience tape. Channel balance
changes abruptly a few times. After "MTC," Bob
says "We'll be back," so it seems likely that the
band, per custom, played two sets. "Statues" is
reprised in the encore of second set (Grant:
"You're forcing us to repeat ourselves."). Grant
improvises lyrics to second "Statues" in response
to people rushing the stage.
