there was a guy in the raincoats in at least ONE of the lineups, couldnt tell you which one though. by the time of their s/t, they were certaily all women


i dont know how i forgot errase errata, i love 'nightlife' and 'at crystal palace' as much as any of the noisey art punk albums that have come out this decade. great guitar tones, great band.

i just downloaded some songs off 'detonator'. i dig it, very chaotic and free form punk rock, fem style. not so sure about the afrirampo comparison though, this band is definitley more traditionally punk rock, but just in that fucked up and wierd japanese way.

why is everything better in japan?

Oh well the album I have, 3 girls from okinawa has a lot of the weird tradeoff afrirampo vocals and shit.. but with screaming.
