No, I've never been in anything w/ SY but Thurston Moore was at the Flywheel in Northampton, MA a little while ago and tapped on my shoulder and said "Excuse moi" while getting to the stage. After his set, the Magik Markers went on and during their whole set, Thurston was tapping his foot and stepping on mine at the same time. Lame, I now, but that's as close to any kind of rock star encounter I have got. It's satisfying for me at least. Oh well, at least Thurston Moore indirectly talked to me.
