Christ on a stick, we GOT IT, "omg" - you hate this collection of "random" stuff, as you put it, without having heard a note of it, AND you think it's all "over" in a year which will see Kim, Lee and Thurston all releasing new material that by most accounts differs in some way or another to what they've done before. In other words, they keep expanding as artists while you sit on your ass bummed because there are no more Sonic Youth records. Sad.

I am tempted to sign up to spotify just because hearing it {eventhough I would enjoy it more listening to it in my car}. can you listen to it with free spotify acc.?

I love this boxset (CD only greenlight due to the track lengths). I had already heard each track performed before the release but it's nice to have them all in one place now. At least one of the photos in the booklet is mine, I'm not credited but I don't mind. Last night Thurston performed a stripped down version of Alice Moki Jayne with Jen, Deb and James. Thurston signed my box after the show.

Yes, you had to pre order the album to get into the show at Rough Trade. They handed out the CD’s with the wristbands to us in the queue. They seemed to have plenty of copies for sale but I think they only arrived the day before.

Rough Trade east still have some copies signed by Thurston

Sure! Just sign up for the Spotify - on desktop version you will be able to listen to the album normally (I think they allow you to play random songs by the chosen artist on mobile with free account)

The album though is - so-so I would say. Nothing new, nothing special - classic lengthy instrumental Thurston. Alice Moki Jane sounds like a highlight out of the 3 tracks. I don't dig the production of the whole. Btw, that New Order cover is dope!

I still haven't haeard Spirit Councel. I think I will get it digital, since I am not a big fan of CD anymore. That New Order is a killer track, indeed.
