I heard GYBE playing through a wall and booed them because they fucking suck then HTRK and the Dead C came on and blasted the shit out of their neckbeards.
saw haino playing a pretty lengthy set a few months ago, would've been a good 3 hours at least. fushitsusha live is also a pretty fucking hefty endurance test from memory. shortest might've been kirin j callinan, abandoned a show at a festival here after a stunt whereby he consciously induced a seizure in an epilepsy sufferer (who was complicit) and the whole thing fell flat. |
yeah have also seen a number of local hardcore/noise acts who play for what seems like less than 10 minutes.

Roll Deep played 3 or 4 songs when I saw them.

Shortest set of a headliner I saw was probably Dwarves cause I don't think they ever do long sets.
Longest set I seen probably was Pearl Jam. |
longest set as in "oh my god when does it end?":
- the support act for the Wedding Present in 1991 shortest set: - the wedding present in 1991. In my memory the support act (local Dutch band) had been playing for 2 hours, and the weddoes were finished already in short of an hour, at least to my recollection. And no encore but they never do encores which I didn't know at that time. - body/head was also quite short, but possibly to be expected from such an act (experimental / noise) longest set, as in "oh my god they've already played for xx hours and I wish they'll continue for weeks if I could still keep standing on my feet": - not sure, probably Neil Young with Crazy Horse on the Psychedelic Pill tour |
