Hot Rock? I like it a lot, but I can see how I could like it more with a good remastering. I'm curious about this one.

And Call's sludge is part of its perfection, so no thank you to a remaster. Wish they'd release it on a beat-up cassette.

DONT YOU DARE FUCKING TOUCH THE HOT ROCK, ITS A FUCKING MASTERPIECE AS IT IS

To severian, I was that SK head at all the shows, and as the certified.ONLY dreadlock Rasta there it was even more fun. I was overjoyed in 2009 when I.caught wild flags 3rd ever.show, it felt like a rejuvenation. Ive now replaced wild flag/.corin tucker band as my sk live.show.fix, having seen them both a few times.now. still will NEVER be SK but close enough

Well, this time they didn't ask me to participate in the remastering, so I didn't touch anything.

I'm just saying if there's a bit more bounce to the start of "Get Up" I'd be curious to hear it. Maybe because it's "moody" it might take to a remastering process better.

So, for those keeping score (and I know you are):

the debut- Because if it sounds even slightly better, good. That said, nothing will change the fact that "Way up in the sky, That is where am I" is the worse lyric ever.

Hot Rock- (above)

That's it, I guess. There goes that.

Oh, a remastered Woods? I'd rather blow the members of One Direction. Louder shit is still shit.

----

But enough of this nonsense. Here's the real question: fuck, kill, marry?

The "kill" is obvious. Do I really have to say her name?

But I'm conflicted between the other two.

If you didn't think much of Dig Me Out there really isn't much to say.

Each record is actually very different from each other. My favorite is The Hot Rock..

Yes! Rips out October 7; "Hot And Cold" 7" still available from Merge (also in FLAC and mp3 formats). Dammit, I think I forgot to put the single on my "best of 2014 so far" list...

With my credit card in a sorry-ass state, good only to split cocaine lines until November at the earliest, I have stayed away from all kinds of previews of the remarkable amount of bitchen music coming out these days. The only exception I made was with TWEEDY's video for "Low Key", because it happens to feature THE GREATEST ACTOR OF THE 21st CENTURY, Mr. Michael Shannon:
