The Seven Year Itch. Billy Wilder was a fucking genius. Marilyn Monroe was fucking brilliant--and beautiful.

OMG, the first Ginger Snaps is at LEAST a 9/10 for me.

The 2nd and 3rd are... okay.

atsonicpark 08.31.2009 07:42 PM

Don't like the first one very much, saw half the second one and turned it off. Didn't even know there was a third one.

noisereductions 08.31.2009 07:59 PM

Really?? The first one is great I think. Love it.

2nd is alright. But really, without Katherine Isabel (sp?) it's not quite the same.

The third is pretty horrible. It has them both, but takes place like in the 1800's. Stupid.

viewtiful_alan 08.31.2009 08:27 PM

7.5/10

6.5/10

gmku 08.31.2009 08:46 PM

Right now, The Spy Who Came in from the Cold.

1492: Conquest of Paradise

pinkstation 08.31.2009 10:03 PM

i just watched the 1932 Scarface yesterday.

Incredible, simply incredible film. So SO much better than the 80s remake with Al pacino

I love the first one as well, and I think the 2nd is a pretty damn good flick too. Ginger Snaps Back was an unnecessary, and illogical prequel, but it picked up quite a bit halfway through the second act.

Mine is Fargo, I saw it many times: once in English with the French subtitles, once in French, once in English with no subtitles, once with the audio commentary by Roger Deakins, once with the trivia bubbles and like 5 more times in English with the subtitles. I'm planning to see it again soon.

It's my 3rd favorite movie of all time.

I really wish Katherine Isabelle had just continued being in tons of horror movies. She could've been a screamqueen. I figured she'd go that route after Freddy Vs Jason, but alas, it was not meant to be, I suppose. She was amazing in Ginger Snaps though. Damn.

agree on Nighmare. Didn't think of that, but yeah I've seen that one a lot. And all of the F13's I've seen soooooooooooooo many times. BTW, I'm guessing you like the Dandy Warhols?

dirty bunny 09.01.2009 01:38 PM

I watched Dazed & Confused again night before last. It was pretty good, although I wish it didn't have commercials, because it only made it obvious how little happens during the film ;)

noisereductions 09.01.2009 01:39 PM

stuff happens?

dirty bunny 09.01.2009 01:50 PM

sure! freshmen get hazed, people get drunk and high, drive around.

Dr. Eugene Felikson 09.01.2009 02:14 PM

I've never liked Dazed & Confused.

she does, but she hasn't updated in a while...

videomassacre.blogspot.com

I think the Summer weather has been a detractor, and she'll probably start updating it a lot as it gets cooler and darker earlier. though maybe if there were some comments up on there she'd get back into updating often again.

Dr. Eugene Felikson 09.01.2009 05:04 PM

Aw damn, no updates since I last checked.

Thanks though.

sonicpixie 09.01.2009 05:06 PM
