4/5 All this guy needs is a big single. Imagine a Drake that hardcore hip hop heads dont hate, and you have J. Cole. 4/5 Spitta has put out two of the year's best rap albums, and this is the best of the two. Great jazzy production from Ski, and consistently solid verses from Curren$y make this one of the year's hip-hop must-listens. Unfortunately the board seems to be sleeping on thisguy. 3/5 Meh 3.5/5 This guy's a good mc, but he's way too full of himself. |

I only know Currency from his work with Weezy...

Grab Pilot Talk II, NR. It's fucking fantastic. It's the only hip-hop album I've been listening to for weeks.
Today I've been listening to XBXRX, Melt Banana's Speak Squeek Creek(or something like that. I put it away already), An Albatross, and now I'm watching Sunshine for Shady People and listening to Arab on Radar's pulsing drums. It's the schizophrenic in me. |

Haha right? I'm actually excited to see where they go with this sound.
Do all Witch House groups have rappers? The tracks with the emcee are my favorite. I must investigate this genre. |

I have no idea. I saw the Levi's thing and lolled super hard but the album versions of almost everything are so fucking tight. Did you hear the remix of Gucci's Bird Flu? Or the Health remix linked above? I'm so fucking sold. |
