in other news,

scissor shock just finished a new 17-minute ep entitled "you're all slime". i'll post it a link for download here soon. it is mainly acoustic guitar, accordian, trombone, and drum machine. it sounds way different than anything else we've done. very folky in parts.

The name of my (our) band i Mislyd. (A Danish word).
I play the bass. It's some kind of alternative rock... I think.

by the way, nice job you n' danny done with the sy tribute album.

More songs (there's always the "repeat" button for too short songs, but this one sounds just about right with the actual running time).
Thanks for the nice words on the tribute project. I'd like all you guys who listened to it to comment on the tracks in the proper thread, if you feel like doing it.

See you all at the Berkeley 7/19 Daydream show, we're making a band field trip cause my drummer has never seen my favorite band live. Doesn't automatically make him a bad person, but it doesn't help either.

i have one, had one, need one now and then. Over the last year i've gone through 2 drummers, 3 bassists, and 5 "guitarists". It's hard to find good help, so i record record record

i am from central jersey and i have the same problem with all these "emo" "punks" who wanna play covers of MCR and Silverstein and all that other junk... :fuckyou: haha.

i'm in a band, and i play guitar/sing/piano. we just recorded our first demo type thing, and we're actually about to play to about 800-1000 people at the Stone Pony (outdoor for the summer shows :)).

here's our myspace click :p

if you don't like it, we're actually looking to move into a different direction with our music (like two bassist, more obscure instruments and sounds)

come check us out July 29th at the Stone Pony if you'd like 20$ ahead

cheers :)
