That looks like a Raincoats cd. Is it?

Anyway, someone (toilet and bowels as it happens) told me the other day that you can only get their cds in the Rough Trade shop in London because they are OOP but one of The Raincoats had a stack of cds and is friends with the owners of RT so they sell them there. Not sure if they still have any.

Check it out:

Motherfuck! I asked both the stores here in town if they could order it for me and they checked their computers and said it wasn't available. What's up with that?

That's one of my favorites. I need somebody to translate the Russian liner notes, though.

As I mentioned, I think they are all only available from Rough Trade. They probably ship to the US but I guess that would be pricey with the pissweak dollar.

gmku 03.20.2007 10:26 AM

Oh, yeah, I see that post now.

Is there any logic to what gets reissued. Christ.

jon boy 03.20.2007 11:35 AM

I can confirm that it's true because i talked to one of the guys who work in there. They don't have any vinyl in stock, but this is what they have and you can order them on their website as well as buying them in both shops:

The Raincoats
Looking In the shadows
Odyshapoe
Moving

He said that there might be some other stuff scatterd in either shop but he wasn't sure.

I'm listening to Can't You Hear Me Knocking right now, funny enough, Cantankerous. Always reminds me of the scene in Blow. Such a great song.

Cantankerous 03.20.2007 11:45 PM
