This was just one of those days. You never know what yer gonna walk in and see. A used early pressing for only 8 bucks.
![]() Also got a first pressing of Beggars Banquet, the RSVP cover, before they deleted the "Written by Mick Jagger & Keith Richards" from the back cover (cuz Prodigal Son wasn't credited to the songwriter on those early copies). |

Butthole Surfers - Rembrandt Pussyhorse/Cream Corn from The Socket of Davis EP
i'm really enjoying this. "To Parter" is one of the coolest songs i've ever heard. Birthday Party - Prayers on Fire my brother has a copy of this. i listened to it a few times and decided i needed my own copy (seeing as he and i live about 1500 miles apart). |
SamGoody was going out of business the other day and I picked up Tapes N' Tapes' The Loon for 8.99. It's a decent album.
|
i dont remember, i could have gotten phychocandy (jesus and mary chain) on vinyl for like 2 bucks but i didnt cause my record player broke. and i could have gotten the original release of daydread nation from my uncle but i didnt for the same reason. in a few days im gonna buy the new dylan

Thinking of getting a vinyl copy of Junkyard by the Birthday Party today. Any good?
|
No, get some Nick Drake instead.

yeah, that one's okay. Mick Taylor adds some nice licks, as I recall... |

indeed. |
You don't mean Nick Cave.
|
I don't really know Nick Cave that good, it's a shame, what I've heard have been good, but I never got to the point of buying any records by him. Oh well, I'm still young, I have lots of good listening experiences to come:)
|
Got:
The Essential Bo Diddley Koji Asano - Rabbit Room Reservation Center Radio Pyongyang - Commie Funk and Agit Pop from the Hermit Kingdom All for a fiver from Steves Sounds. Thanks for the tip off go to porkmarras.... |
don't listen to them, the birthday party>pretty much anything else, nick drake puts me to sleep, the b-party rawk!
and i love deep wound! last albums i bought were bardo pond, munheiro narita and gaping maw from the archive label, all are ace!! |
Bought it, Junk Yard. Must go home and play. The Ed Roth cover art is awesome.
by the way, Nick Cave is the dude in Birthday Party, not Nick Drake. I wasn't sure if Drake's mention was intentional or if people are mixing up Cave and Drake. Anyway, two different dudes, two different eras. One's still alive (I believe), the other became a deceased singer-songwriter in 1974. |

mate feed kill repeat sucks, it's a waste of money, a novelty to have because it's slipknot's "unreleased first album"; they didn't start to be good until corey taylor and the two djs joined the band.
i just bougth an acid mothers temple 7" from schmebay |
I bought Hello Astronaut, Goodby Television - Pixelated Math Costumes last week.

Shop Assistants - Shop Assistants LP. Still wonderful after 20 years.
