I will try not to breathe
I can hold my head still with my hands at my knees
These eyes are the eyes of the old, shivering and bold
I will try not to breathe
This decision is mine. I have lived a full life
And these are the eyes that I want you to remember, oh
I need something to fly over my grave again
I need something to breathe
I will try not to burden you
I can hold these inside. I will hold my breath
Until all these shivers subside,
Just look in my eyes
I will try not to worry you
I have seen things that you will never see
Leave it to memory me. I shudder to breathe
I want you to remember, (you will never see)
I need something to fly (something to fly)
Over my grave again (you will never see)
I need something to breathe (something to breathe)
Baby, don't shiver now
Why do you shiver now? (I will see things you will never see)
I need something to fly (something to fly)
Over my grave again. (I will see things you will never see)
I need something to breathe,
I will try not to worry you
I have seen things that you will never see
Leave it to memory me. Don't dare me to breathe
I want you to remember, oh (you will never see)
I need something to fly (something to fly)
Over my grave again (you will never see)
I need something to breathe (something to breathe)
Baby, don't shiver now
Why do you shiver? (I will see things you will never see)
I need something to breathe (something to breathe - I have seen things you will
never see)
I want you to remember

They don't get mentioned very often, but a fine band indeed.

now one of the only records i've got not stashed away in a box.

Iain 03.07.2007 07:40 PM

A good one to have un-stashed though.

At the moment I am listening to Astral Social Club - #1 and feeling a mixture pleasure (because it is ace) and regret (because I only bought the first volume). Althought they did that comp on VHF and I believe a cdr of the first six as MP3s. I need those.

Yeah, I remember you mentioning that.....pretty wild. They're such an awesome band. I'm always trying to find people to play "heavy experimental" music, but it's kind of hard to do so. Most people want to play straight up metal/hardcore without the weirdness. I've always been more of a metal/hardcore drummer then a "pedestrian rock" drummer, so I kind of need to go nuts in my (ideal) band.

Oh, I ran across an Asva boot if anyone is interested.

jon boy 03.08.2007 04:35 AM

Which one were you listening to?

They have a new record out soon on Rococo records. I don't think it's out yet anyway...looking forward to that. Sounds a bit different from the sounds on the website. More mellow and droney
