people were faving about this one... "undergroudn west coast dude remakes east coast classic in homage" ... ok. Could be good. Great beats obvoiusly. But with a West Coast voice? But dudes, it just doesn't work (I know -- surprise surprise right? But if you had the balls to make this then maybe it really would be good). But to be honest, the beats just point out that Fashawn just cannot flow like Nas could. It soudns like he's struggling to magnatize ears the way that Nas did so effortlessly on these instrumentals. Not that it's horrible. But you're going to compare within moments. Then be let down. Then go listen to ILLMATIC instead. Too bad.

i reccomend checking him live if you can, but his recordings are pretty boring
