Well, i'm going to say this in a nice way...
I like it, i do, mostly because i really just like Sonic Youth, whether it be Thurston's/Kim's/Lee's voice/lyrics, i like THAT part. But, ehh... I mean, i even like Jenny Lewis' solo (country) album, so i'll let musicians i like get away with a lot.

Because Jenny Lewis is fucking awesome. And Ripchord is an excellent song.

Fair enough. A qualified "Yes" for RR then.

I love the album. But maybe just coz I haven't analyzed it a lot. I think it's really good, but then again, there's hardly anything by SY that I don't like.

Hi there, I've been posting here for a while (and on the old board, too), but since I've been around more than usual...

I'm Nick. I'm 24, I live in Massachusetts, I'm a writer and I work at a newspaper here, and when I can, I've run a mainly music website (in the signature) for the last year and half.

I've seen Sonic Youth a few times (most recently at Bonnaroo), and I'm checking them out again in Boston in September.
