Sun Ra and his Solar Arkestra -- "We Travel the Spaceways" and "Bad and Beautiful"

bought this classic in 2001. it is not as off-the-wall as some other Sun Ra work. but it has grown on me to the point where i look forward to it as much as some of his other stuff, e.g. "Atlantis"

I first heard of Sun Ra from Rolling Stone then I read that Thurston was a fan (instant cred). Later a co-worker whose musical taste is a wonderful thing sang Sun Ra's praises.

Long story short: Everyone knows Sun Ra rules!
