Eventually, it's someone you know.

My uncle's wife's uncle died from Covid-19 yesterday.

So we have more strict rules but no full lockdown. All gatherings are forbidden until 1 June, even home visits with more than 3 guests are to be restricted. If one family member has fever, the entire family needs to stay home. Hairdresser shops are closed until 6 April. You're still allowed to go out for shopping or work, or just for a walk, but by yourself. Police can give fines of 400 Euros when 3 or more people (that don't live in the same house) are not keeping a distance of 1.5 meters.

Tomorrow will be decided what to do with the school exams, under the given restrictions it's impossible.

Sorry to hear that, Soup. How old was he?

My stepsister who lives and works in North Houston knows someone diagnosed with coronavirus. It’s the mom of one of her coworkers who lives in the Woodlands.

I left last year like symbols said. Half of my friends are in the service industry and still workin'. So far so good with them, but yeah....it's insane.

Perhaps your wife can hand her casket spray off to someone who can take it to the undertaker directly, although you would have to pay someone for the service, and hope that restaurants and gas stations along the way would be open.

I'm just trying to think of ways you can carry out your wishes, yet, should I fail to understand your local situation, kindly keep in mind the fact that I barely understand my own local situation right now.

Sheesh!

We appreciate your sentiments, Robert.

We are prepared to leave on our jaunt across Texas tomorrow morning. As I type, my wife is completing her egg salad & chicken-salad specialty’s along with a fresh batch of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.

We plan to arrive in Stonewall around 12 noon, enjoy our picnic lunch at Ladybird Johnson park, then attend the graveside service. The casket spray sits on our dinning room table, it contains 5 dozen yellow roses and my wife did a wonderful job on it.

When we depart Stonewall, we will take a different route, traveling the The Devil’s Backbone as it’s a beautiful drive with scenic overlooks that are perfect for pulling over and taking pictures.

Thanks, guys. I never met him, although he did come from Locarno to Santiago once (it's a long damn trip, people).

To make things more tragic, before it happened (and this is just beyond absurd/bonkers/fucked up), my uncle reached to us via WhatsApp so we, in a country at the end of the world, would tell his wife THIS IS SERIOUS YOU SWISS FUCKS. Instead, they continued their family gatherings. Days later one of them dropped dead.

Slavo, quarantined and all you're lucky as hell to have left Switzerland. If this truly blows up over there they're gonna have to reach into Hitler's gold to afford fighting the disease.

Sidenote: I'm catching a cold. Could be any of the bullcrap colds one usually catches as it gets colder (we entered the Fall season here), or it could be that cold. Just marvelous, this pandemic.

Yeah Schunk, your "wartime" guy's a very stable genius. He's the PRESIDENT, with an ENORMOUS responsibility, and he's saying to the country that it "looks very, very good" to take shit used for CLEANING FISH TANKS.

As for the video of Fauci you "kindly" invite me to watch, the guy wasn't even there this time. :fuckyou:

Lt Gov Dan Patrick of TX has offered his sorry ass up to infection to get the economy movin’. I support that sacrifice and expect to see him ministering to sick young men by the “laying on of healing hands” method.
