^^went to one 20 years ago, but NOTHING like it is today! Congrats on your move.

Spent the weekend in Katy and on the way home yesterday, I picked up the following:

Bytor Peltor 11.02.2013 10:59 PM

Received a package from Skin Graft on my special day:

Three kickass reissues, brand new and shrink wrapped, $10.99.

Not fucking bad at all.

I also picked up:

(Only not on vinyl- yet- just digital. Will buy on vinyl when it makes more sense to do so. Most listening done on iPod these days)

To be completely honest, I've been buying albums like a motherfucker with virtually no regard for expense.

What I'm saying is: it would take an hour to collect pics of all the albums I've purchased since my last post.

But the highlight of the past week has been Botany - Lava Diviner

But I did just ordered this on vinyl: "Vi Ar Alla Guds Slavar" by Thurston Moore and Mats Gustafsson. I'm not sure I knew it existed until today, but I purchaed it immediately.

greenlight 11.27.2013 05:38 AM

nice stuff guys.

insanely lush, sweet melodies eclipsed by crushing chaos, grim static capable of summoning the darkest demons, pink drones blissing out in the clouds, crumbling walls of destructive industrial noise, a swarm of stuttering percussion like Pyramids on broken stilts, absolutely massive, beautifully triumphant, & fucking devastating.

Sujo – Kahane

Bytor Peltor 11.27.2013 04:30 PM

Standard release, but I didn't dig into the box sets much. Mogwai's not quite high enough on my list that I need to buy the most expensive version of every release. They probably should be though. I think they've been having an excellent twilight era. Hardcore will never die was... Was particularly satisfying.

Great band. I love the fact that 20 years into their career, they're still putting out new projects at such a pace.

Bytor Peltor 01.22.2014 08:37 AM

My last purchase / show was the Mr. Beast album and tour.

I had sort of given up on them before Mr. Beast......and even though I enjoyed the alburm / tour, I haven't purchased anything since.

I've been streaming Rave Tapes this past weekend and I really enjoy it. It's more reminiscent of, CODY and earlier sounds.

Can't wait to see them in April.

I won't purchasing the box, but I've seen where those who have tweeted about it absolutely love it!
