If Zelalem wants to play for a national team itd have to be US and if he wanted to play for Germany he would have became a German national instead of an American. He played six years in American youth leagues and while Germany is a great country and a superior futbol culture America is usually the dream boat country for Ethiopians. Also, he could easily play for a Euro club as an American and also play for USMNT. With Freddy Adu, he played for USMNT for 9 years on U17, U20, and also our 2008 Olympics and 2011 Gold Cup but for whatever reason was cut

Hahaha It's something Everton fans have wondered themselves. Of all the other Wigan players Martinez could've taken with him Alcaraz had to be one of them? Madness. Anyway highlights for the Chelsea game was brilliant. It's the one time where I had to shout at the tv at Mourinho's moaning and tell him to shut the hell up. They lost fairly. El Symbols, if you get to watch it it's as good a game as you'll get to see Kane for Spurs at his best. The kid looks as dim as a dead bulb but he can play. Hope it lasts for him. |
Kane looks like the real deal. Hodgson should fast track him into the England side. If he keeps this form up it'll be interesting to see how long Spurs can keep him.

The biggest problem would where do you out him? I think we've discused this before but yeah. |
|
Harry's Big Score?
|
My brother in-law is a massive Chelsea fan but hes On His Bloody Honeymoon with my Bloody Sister, so I havent been able to rip the living shit out of him. They're back tomorrow and Im gonna play Sugar Kane before I even ask him how NYC was :)
|
and from the cross,
the twisted lane he heads it it Sugar Kane! |
Brilliant.
|
AH I didnt do it right
And from the cross Down at the Lane He heads it in Harry Kane! |
|
If football fans liked early 90's alt-rock id be on to a winner
|
I havent been this enamoured since Bale :)

Ready to get your heartbroken again as he gets sold and Spurs buy another Soldado? |
Yknow i cant see it going that way. I think he's too unfashionable.
|
OBVIOUSLY that makes me love him even more

The face MADE for t-shirts. |

thats a bit of a stretch from me there

You might be right. There will be interest in him but I don't think it'll be from teams that could make an offer Levy couldn't refuse. He's another Costa and the rich teams aren't looking for a Costa (except Chelsea, who already have one). |

The inflated prices clubs pay for English players might be a factor too. He has a deep connection to the club in a way that Bale, Modric, Carrick et al havent had. Hopefully that means when they stick by him he will stay. |
so you guys saying this is the new bale? i must see that.
his face looks vaguely familiar amirite? |
The new Bale might be pushing it, even if he fulfils his potential. His position and style might make him the new Shearer, though. Not a £100m player but a 200+ goals one.

No, but I do like that hat. |
jeezus fecking christ i found a download of the chelsea/spurs game and it was a 2GB file. my internet quota is 10GB for a month during regular hours (more GB during "special" hours only). unusual but true.
i'll have to wait for good internets to download this. so the guy isn't margaret thatcher's secret grandchild. |
Fuckin' bollocks. I hate football.
|
*cold sweat*

No joke, when Sam made that defensive substitution and moved Downing out to the left, I fucking knew that was gonna happen. Well done for the comeback but we absolutely gave it away. From Collins' goal till the substitution, Everton were dead in the water. Big Sam bottled it.

TBH I didn't watch it. Purely because I didn't want to deal with the stress again. Instead I watched L'atalante and wished I lived on a barge with 15 cats. |
Unbelievable. All the pundits are saying Sam's substitution gifted you the draw. You were awful till we brought Poyet on. Sam talking absolute bollocks in the post match interview right now. Haven't been as angry at a result as this in a long long time.

If it's any consolation I suspect you'll win the replay. But yeah, I know that feel. |
oh, damn, i missed your duel!
|
wasn't the best of games but the first draw i've seen where both sets of fans flooded radio phone ins afterwards calling for their managers' heads. (A bit knee-jerk, in the case of West Ham's, despite my initial vent of anger here)
|
Big game tonight in the La Liga with Atletico playing Barcelona. I watched Atletico play Real earlier this week in the Copa Del Rey and they looked great. So it'll be interesting to see how they do.
Rather guttingly I don't think I'll be able to watch it as it's my group's film night tonight. Anyone planning to watch it? |

So are Southampton the team everyone is allowed to like? Either way I hope they keep this up and get their deserved Champions League place.
