I'm a bit disappointed in the Cale single. Although b-side was worth the $2. It was more what I was expecting him to sound like. East Jesus is brilliant, though. I've been hesitating to get his solo stuff because they're all $14.99 and I wasn't quite sure it was worth it, but oh, it was.... |

Minutemen - Double Nickels On The Dime
I had this checked out from the library a couple summers ago, and only now purchased my own copy. Polvo - This Eclipse EP I haven't heard this one yet. I think I just need to find a copy of the self-titled EP and then I will have their entire catalog, excluding singles. |
ok get ready (trun might call this intellectual prententious fuckery)

Buh! I wish I could spend all my pay on records instead of only most of it. What's that Panicsville one like if you've managed to have a listen yet. I've heard a few of their tracks and was really surprised how...un-noisy it is. |

How is this? I've been meaning to give Autechre a listen. |
After a maybe a little less than a year of owning it and not understanding the appeal, OK Computer finally clicked. So I bought Amnesiac and Hail to the Thief. (Went to get Kid A but they didn't have it, so I got Amnesiac based on the Gondry video of Knives Out, and HttT because I've always loved the CD cover.)
![]() ![]() |
Hail To the Thief is easily the best Rhead album, in my opinion. my second favourite is Amnesiac (so much better than Kid A.). i am not very into the Bends. and i recently got OK Compluter nd i dont see what the big hubbub is about.. its just a rock/pop album really.

even though i love kid a and there experimental stuff ok computer is just awesome. I completely agreee that its just rock/pop but thats why I love it. Im going to pick up the bends tomorrow because i always wanted too. |
i don' really not like it, just it was/is way overhyped, like, it was not the best album of 1997. thats for damn sure.
|
Why is it that when people get into Radiohead they also buy Authecre albums?I know that the sack of dead chickens who goes by the name of Thom Yorke says that he's massively into them(not enough to inspire him to do something better with his band's music though) but really,Authecre and Aphex Twin are not the only innovative(i'm using this adjective simply because methinks it is the only thing that interests our Thom so he can wear his music taste like a 'look at me,i'm such a cool and tortured and complex kind of guy' badge) musicians out there.
