I'm starting with Gothic III these days.

Doesn't seem as good as I nor II to me though. Maybe it will grow on me eventually though.

i had this game back in the day when it came out. what a great rpg, i seriously regret selling my gba. dont think i ever played the sequel.

those two are some of my all time favorite GB-games.
and when you beat the first Golden Sun, you'll get a password to transfer certain data (character levels, djinni, items etc) to the sequel, it's neat, but kinda sucks ass, as the password is like 260 characters long and is one annoying fucker to enter. unless you have two GBAs and a link cable.

I'm down for whatever. the only problem with playing Civ III "live" is the massive time-difference and the fact that a game can last 3 days, but I'm willing to try!

I'm not sure what you mean. I don't think so...at least not in the typical sense of a mmo being a static-world.

never played that civ online...didn't even know it existed. doesn't look as good as Civ III though. :p

well, I'm open to suggestions. I spend all my game-time playing a RTS game now...it's just not the same. I've been fighting back the fever to play WoW again too. the memory of it is always a lot better than the reality though.

Civ III wasn't as fun as Civ II and they were only ever fun on easy mode anyways. Speaking strictly for myself.

which is funny because the II was the only one that did nothing for me. I was a cult, III was full of great improvements (plus 3D) and IV is pure heaven.

I thought II was great because you could build military dictatorships to crush your enemies. In III I didn't find it was as easy to build a military and conquer. And that sucked a lot of the fun out of it for me.

that's cause you're a warmonger ;). the thing I love about IV is that there's such a big variety of ways how you can drive your fate, where military power supremacy is only one of the lot. unlike the previous Civ's, here it doesn't even matter how many cities your civilization has. which is cool.

That's true, I do like the warmongering aspect of it. I mean, succeeding on artistic merit is fine and all, but I like building the cities all over, spreading all over the landscape.

The other way is fine every now and again, but doesn't get my juices flowing.

I enjoyed converting hostile lands to Taoism, and then bombing them back to the stone age.

Working on Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, after I recently reacquired an n64 and remembered i'd never beaten that one

I've never played Majora's Mask, but I've been thinking about it a lot lately. I've always heard how dark and different it is than others. I need to get it.
