Zack & Miri Make A Porno.
uberlame, one great scene thanks to a splendid cameo by justin long. here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lL2F6mw9pk spare yourself the rest of the flick. |
^I thought the whole movie was really funny.
Justin Long's character was hilarious. |
Dunno, I think it's pretty lame. Sure, some lols throughout the whoel thing, but the plot is superweak, things happens without a reason, the ending is SO obvious, acting and dialogues are not much good. That scene is great, the rest is kinda crappy. all imo obviously.
|
lol.
"they fight just like real people" also, Trapped in the Closet is awesome. I've only seen the 2nd half of it, and it was on ifc last night but I forgot to watch it because I was partying |

I treat comedies different than a lot of other genres I watch. Really, as long as it keeps me laughing throughout, I dnt even care about plot or rationale. I only watch comedies when I feel like drinking a bunch and just laughing and relaxin'. So in a way, maybe I have low standards for comedies. But yeh, I understand yr reasoning. I did laugh a lot, though. PS did you see Justin Long's other scene after the credits?? |
Yes, nice addition :D.
I don't have much high standards for comedies too, but, say, a simple movie like Forgetting Sarah Marshall (keeping it in the "lighthearted comedies genre") is funny and way more "consistent" in a way. K Smith did some much better movies (in the writing department). |
he did, yes.
I liked Forgetting Sarah Marshall as well. I tend to like most things that involve anybody that was at all connected to Freaks & Geeks. |
Not really a movie, but:
1st 4 episodes of this, starting #5 in a bit. I've probably seen the whole mini-series 5 or 6 times. |
Pink Flamingos Tom Green: Inside and Outside The Box |
Class of 1984 Without a doubt, one of my favorite flicks of all time. |
some nice ideas, good direction, violence (on different levels) plot twists, overall a pretty enjoyable "horror". With one of the most beautiful girls on earth, imo (check the "post pics of hot girls" thread). ha, and to think that people watched "captivity" for Elisha Cuthbert. |
i saw dodgeball again

weird, just saw that for the first time a few months ago. GReat film.

|
7.5/10 I really didnt think this would be as good as it was. |
|
It took me ages finally getting round to seeing this. Absolutely magnificent film and one of the only times I've been able to bear Dustin Hoffman. (The Graduate being probably the only other film I could stand him in.) |
5.5/10 |

instead of movies, i've been watching XAVIER: RENEGADE ANGEL
what a brilliant show |
I thought THE HOST sucked. It was so cool looking, but then got so fucking goofy. Total let down.

To start with it was ok, then about half way i started having doubts, then about half an hour after watching my opinion was close to yours. |
tenebre...im sure its nothing new around her but i liked it...even if i havent totally made sense of it yet
|
What's there to make sense of? Not being condescending, I genuinely want to know what confused you, I thought it was pretty straightforward. Unless you just mean it shattered your senses.
Either way, it rules. Favorite Argento movie! |
|
ok, the host was on my list, guess I can wait to watch that and go for something else...
