Hello sonic pals! I'm new to this so this thread schizoroom is quite good for starting.
What I like: the sun behind the clouds making them appear like the Sixtine Chapel paintings, starry skies, listening to music with lights off, long grass dancing with the wind, listening to the drone sound the car makes riding in the highway, traveling by train, thunderstorms (specially at night), playing nonsensically my guitar, painting crazy watercolors, reading Baudelaire in my book full of scents I set into, MUSIC AND NOISE!

Hip Priest 12.10.2006 07:01 PM

Good evening, musicfallinglikesnow. Welcome to the finest forum on the 'net; I hope you decide to stick around.

Any chance we could see some of these crazy watercolours?

musicfallinglikesnow 12.10.2006 07:03 PM

Hey! Good evening to you too Hip Priest! The place seems cool! Thanks for the warm welcome. I've already posted something in the SYR thread. I'm from Buenos Aires. Gotta love it!

Better_Than_You 12.10.2006 07:18 PM

Aaaaww... That sounds beeeeautiful. I'm not just sucking up either, I've always wanted to visit there.

musicfallinglikesnow 12.10.2006 07:20 PM

Missed the watercolor part. I'll have to scan them! But here's one I scanned some time ago.
Edit: Sorry too big for the site, 170.9 kb.
I'll have to rework that.
See you tomorrow...And better_than_you, it's a faaaabulous place, you know! Haha.
Have to go. Nite!

Good morning!
Now that I seriously study what a watercolor should really be (lots of water and blurry colors) this one seems pretty basic to me. I had to cut it because the entire one was too big for the site. Anyway, and embarrassment of mine apart, Hip Priest, I hope you like it!

Yes, I like it. It would make a nice avatar for you.

musicfallinglikesnow 12.14.2006 08:12 AM

Hi, sonicl! Hi, Hip Priest! Thanks! I was thinking about it too ;)

Hip Priest 12.14.2006 12:17 PM

It's an excellent avatar.

Don't forget there's a 'post your art' thread where more people are likely to see your work.

sonicl 12.15.2006 04:38 AM

Hey, no need to be shy here, mfls (I hope you don't mind your name being abbreviated), just dive in. Some people are bound to be negative towards you, but it's nothing personal, those people are negative to just about everyone.

Now go forth, and enjoy the full SY gossip experience!!!

musicfallinglikesnow 12.15.2006 05:55 AM

Hey Thomas, did you enjoy "Good Will Hunting"? That's the only Gus Van Sant film I saw I think.
Oh and Bukowski. What a wise man. Lots of people here like Bukowski.

Thomas Moronic 12.15.2006 06:12 AM

Hey:) I've not got round to watching Good Will Hunting yet...
I love all the other stuff I've seen though - Drugstore Cowboy, Elephant, My Own Private Idaho, Last Days etc. Good old Bukowski:) Did you see Factotum, with Matt Dillon as Bukowski?

Hey sorry I'm late in answering but I use Firefox with tabs and I used too many tabs and everything crashed down (I have Windows 98!) and I turned it off before seeing your response.
No! I haven't seen Factotum, in fact I've never heard of that movie (the book I do of course)...Matt Dillon as Bukowski?!?!?! Now that's strange. Gonna check it at imdb.com. Sure must be interesting.
