are you home yet? can we talk about the videos?

don't talk about effort.
right now, you're putting a lot more effort into being defensive than you are into doing anything to be helpful.

I LITERALLY HAVE HAD ONE BEER IN 2013 AND I'VE DRANK ALONE IN FRONT OF THE COMPUTER A BUNCH OF TIMES

my grandpa was an alcoholic and listening to him talk was pretty fun, he worked in libya and cuba and knew everything about sports and chess.

if knox is an alcoholic we should chip in to ship her some booze so we can learn interesting and useful facts from her drunk posts

haha, i love you.
i didn't even notice that contradiction there.

on one hand, claiming that speaking up on a message board is useless and does nothing.

on the other hand, claiming that a few posts on a message board can damage an entire cause.

as you know, the advantages of drinking alone at home are many:
- nobody asks you 'do you come here often'
- you play the music you want to hear
- no passing out and waking up with someone touching you
- not having to worry about how you're gonna get home

I highly recommend it.

affirmative action is not really that perfect. while everybody thinks it was bunch of free jobs for black people it's not true because it's white women who benefited most from it because they were seen as a less threatening way to have a diverse workplace

I don't know what kind of affirmative action you're talking about because they can work in many ways and I'm not from North America or something. I was referring to people who speak against any concept of it.
Can't comment on that one.

i don't think so because i think anyone who isn't perfect could possibly find a way to treat women better. i'm a pretty big jerk sometimes so i know i could(and i have made up excuses not to)

but if you're perfect it doesn't apply to you so good job

I've agreed mostly with everything you've said *fist pump* EXCEPT the billy bear bullshit that's highlighted. Wanting to talk to someone of the opposite sex on a night out is NOT a sexist thing. That's how people meet.

Sure you you might get pissed off but hey that's the nature of clubs/bars etc.

all i got from it is that knox has a personal preference to not meet potentially awful strangers while drunk

keep poppin pimples 01.24.2013 06:09 PM

bars do suck for men. try being stuck in a dj booth for five hours with all the party girls knowing you can't run away

have you ever tried to tell a woman that her request is stupid and you literally can't play it and wouldn't if you could.

she's gonna say please fifty times and think just because you're a man that you are personally obligated to play the black eyed peas

if they're really drunk they'll start touching things without permission. namely active soundsystems.

and don't get me started on thinking you get to leave a jacket and purse on top of things i'm trying to use, and that i have to be a bodyguard for a strangers bag instead of doing my job.

so drinking home alone sounds pretty good because women are annoying, it isn't really quite as bad as worrying a man is going to kill you though

do you really think 'do you come here often' is a nice conversation starter?
i didn't imply it was sexist, but it's certainly very dull.

i'm all for meeting strangers as long as they're not walking scripts of some movie with adam sandler.

but now that you mention it, i don't think guys have any right to get all annoyed and reply in a rude way when you're not nice to them or give them any room to start a conversation. if you go around talking to strangers, you should have in mind that some of them went out to be with their friends and are not interested.

besides, i have the worst luck. it's usually someone on pills breathing on my neck and whispering how their apartment only a few blocks away.

floatingslowly 01.24.2013 06:52 PM

Yo, pimples, try having fucking vanilla ice rummage through your shit, explaining how he "used to dj in college".

Fuck club dj. I'll do it at home.

keep poppin pimples 01.24.2013 06:58 PM

what's with americans and towers? we have a tower here, the kind of building nobody cares about locally that americans often visit. because in that culture people make big deals out of towers. like the sky needle which is smaller and less cool than our(majorly boring) tower but more famous.

i never notice the tower at all. but vanilla ice, vince vaughn and many other stars of america show up to buy souvenirs and take a really long elevator ride

HI BABY I'M V-ICE ,COME HERE OFTEN!?!?!?!

keep poppin pimples 01.24.2013 07:02 PM

i ask girls if they come here often because i work at the same dumb bar once every week so if they don't come here often there's no point of meeting them because i'll never see them again in five minutes if they

knox 01.24.2013 07:10 PM

i don't recommend it.
when you hear 'come here often' you normally think he's not the kind of person that can make you come often.
