I'd buy more stuff from PSF but a lot of their stuff is expensive.

Kousokuya are probably my second favourite PSF band (after Shizuka). They get compared to Fushitsusha a lot (and Jutok Kaneko with Haino), but they don't really sound that similar. You should definitely get their first album. Che-SHIZU I don't really know anything about, I haven't even youtubed them (I just needed something to make up the 14) but as you said, because it's PSF it'll definitely be worth listening to.
I'll now have more than 30 PSF titles, but all of them will be psych rock, I haven't even begun to look into the folk and jazz stuff yet.

Wow, I really wish I didn't know about that sale now, because I really can't afford it, and knowing it's there is almost physically painful haha. They're a total wonder as a label. The folk stuff I don't know very much at all, but I've got a handful of their free jazz releases that utterly kick my ass. I especially recommend Kaoru Abe - 'Winter 1972' and Masayuki Takayanagi's New Direction Unit - 'Call In Question'. Will definitely check out Kousokuya with that recommendation (I love Shizuka), once I actually have any money to do so (grumble).

Willie The Kid? Is he good?

viewtiful alan redux 08.17.2010 01:01 AM

He tends to provide some pretty good verses on drama mixtapes, I found this ep and figured 'why not'. I haven't listened to it yet, but I'll let you know what I think.
He's on Dedication 3

Just got it while home for the long weekend, I'll let you know when I listen to it.
Katy Perry is my Lindsay Lohan

noisereductions 09.03.2010 08:50 PM

hahaha word

I like her. She looks like Zooey Dechenel, only girlier. But she's no Linds. PS -- I picked up my new issue of Maxim last night, and off to see Machete this weekend.

viewtiful alan redux 09.03.2010 08:57 PM

She's Zoey Deschenel's sister who got all the tits.f

noisereductions 09.04.2010 08:28 PM

viewtiful, did you get Xtina's BIONIC? That's an incredible electro-pop album. Love it.

viewtiful alan redux 09.04.2010 08:32 PM

No I didn't mostly beccause I heard bad things, and didn't enjoy the single

noisereductions 09.04.2010 08:34 PM

which single ? the "I'm not myelf todeay" one? DUDE> Get the one w bonus tracks. THe album is so good. THere' s a track with Nikki Minaj. Track produced by Annie. Produced by Le Tigre. And there's a ballad that's PROBABLY the most gut-wrenching thing she's ever recorded.

viewtiful alan redux 09.05.2010 04:45 PM

I'll keep an eye out for it to go on sale!
