![]() Felt I should actually own it. I don't care what anyone says. Coming to this album fresh about six months ago for the first time, having largely dismissed it as shit before then, and only being casually aware of quite how often it was hailed by a masterpiece by a lot of people, I have to say that fuck context, it's just simply one of the most perfect pop rock albums I know of. I know it's cool to hate on it now, but damn, when the guitar come in at the beginning of Take It Or Leave It, I couldn't give a shit. |

Glad to hear some fellows Canadians are making some decent music that isn't "indie rock" Looking at some of their tracks on Last.fm... THEY COVERED ONLY SHALLOW!?

There is a whole cover album which also has Aha, Elliott Smith and slayer covers. It's quite decent but their weakest release by far. |
|
Radiopuhelimet: Rakastaa Sinua (Finnish band that I think most Sonic Youth fans will like)
Jimi Hendrix: Valleys Of Neptune Eddie Cochran: My Way Mulatu Astatke: Mulatu steps ahead These all are very great albums and somehow very different and very similiar at the same time!!! |
