French for creating music generally suck a lot I must say. Especially in rock. At the moment, the "huge" thing in France is a vague Paris baby rock scene with 20-year old people that copy everything that was going on the 70's and think it's cool to. They suck.

germany got no musical background except for some singer songwriter stuff, electronic music and krautrock. but except electronic music everything stinks in germany, just paste/copy acts in just plain bad
