I'm not trying to brag. I originally came to this thread requesting advice with my whole ass-flashing hottie w/ a boyfriend dilemma, and have been updating the board with news on the issue since. I have included pictures of her for reference, and really don't see the whole issue since the pics are already available on the internet.

I also realize that there is a distinct difference between my social self on this board vs. my social self in real life, and don't see one conflicting with the other any time soon. If they ever did cross paths, I'd have to sit down, pick at my toe fungus, and eternally ponder what I've become.

Also, so what if I'm calling one of my female friends hot? I haven't posted anything untrue about her to defame her character in any way. If anything, I'm glorifying her like a prized trophy that I hope to one day obtain. I guess it's only acceptable to be a piggish male towards pictures of complete strangers in the "hot girls" thread. None of you know will ever know her personally, so I see no harm in what I've said so far.

You say anyone has the right to do anything. This would imply that we could do things that would be considered cruel or immoral. You then go onto say that there might be consequences. Presumably these consequences would be retaliation etc. Imagine you have done something like this, something "immoral". So other people have decided they didn't want you to do this particular thing. Maybe they think you don't have the right to do this thing. In fact isn't that the basis for our desires for revenge or justice? That someone didn't have the right to do something. Maybe this retaliating person considers it their right to decide whether pictures of themselves appear on the internet or not.

People decide who has the right to do anything. My opinion is that we don't have the right to post pictures of other people without there consent.

So if someone beats you up you would think "well, that's they're right" and you wouldn't get angry? Of course your reply to that might be "I have the right to get angry and seek revenge" but if your own rights, such as your right to not get beaten up, haven't been transgressed (because anyone has right to do anything and these people have the right to beat you up, so your right to not get beaten up has been superseded in this instance) then on what basis exactly would you be angry?
