Relistening to Hunky Dory on vinyl has really driven home just how amazing an album it really is. I mean damn, of the first 4 tracks, 3 are Changes, Oh You Pretty Things! and Life On Mars, all of which are among the best pop songs of the 70s. Pretty stunning.

Del Tha Funkee Homosapien - No Need For Alarm (double vinyl)
Was spending too much on ordering t-shirts and I figured if I was going to pay for a record to be shipped over from the States I might as well throw a record in the package... |

I only really know Catch A Bad One from it, but DAMN that's sure enough to make it an essential purchase all on it's own! Today I got: New Orleans Funk: The Original Sound Of Funk 1960-75 (Soul Jazz) on triple vinyl! Very happy. |
Del kills it on NO NEED. My favorite Del album after the DELTRON project. He's so awesome.
|
Deltron is all I have. Well that and the Gorillaz tracks that he's on. I LOVE both though, so I have high hopes. His flow is one of the most distinctive and charming I've ever heard. Madness is probably my favourite track of his. KILLS!

Yes! So good! |
New album released September 15, 2009 Their 2nd release. Bought it once, but what was actually burned on the disc is some country rock greatest hits, so I purchased a used copy again, hoping for what should be on the disc. |
oh shit backspacer is out?
|
the cramps- good music for bad people
the cramps- songs that the lord taught us the things that dreams are made of - 46 super rare old blues and bluegrass tracks and a few more i think |
I don't know who the Lovemakers are... but is that Robert Englund as the photographer?

After a few listens I can say it's good, but not on a par with the subsequent live recordings (as I expected). A few wonders like Cripples cry and the early version of Troubadour though. |
Just ebayed a mint copy of ATL on sexy wax. O the joy!
|
|
I fucking LOVE the boredoms. |

Please post a verdict on this when you've had time to digest. Only just beginning to really explore Ghost's stuff, and what I've heard from this one had been... mixed. Amazing cover though. |
