Where'd you get the money at 14? Or shouldn't I ask. I'm now picturing you as the Artful Dodger.

I love that album. Mine's clear blue vinyl. I love buying vinyl and thinking you just got the ordinary black vinyl and you open it up and it's a color. I've had mine since about 1987.

Pookie 07.13.2006 11:12 AM

I got Zen Arcade when it came out in the UK (about 1985). I wasn't looking for it because I didn't think it would be released here, but I was looking through the World Music section and there it was!

Even if you figure only 10 bucks a piece, that's at least 230 bucks.

Of course, who am I to be critical? Just becuz I go in and only spend 10-30 bucks at a shot--and do that like every week. But that's different, right?;)

There's a lot of coin to be made pushing drugs in junior high.

I think the umlauts must have confused them: World Music or Metal section?

I almost didn't buy it cuz the record store owner told me he hated it. I'm glad I didn't listen to him.

Working with my dad and saving up since Christmas.

It was less than $230. Most of it was used or for cheap at flea markets.

"Kitchen Archive Vol 3 - Amplified"

The SY tracks are great, likewise the Swans ones, and this version of Rhys Chatham's "Guitar Trio" reminds me of Aphex Twin's "Digeridoo".

Hmmmmm.... Rain dogs. I've been debating this one, whether to get it or not. You don't often see LP copies any more and there's one in the store window right now... Any good?

Yeah he's back but this album is more about beats than rhymes & it's 34 minutes long, which in my opinion sucks. I want more!!!
