I walked past a guy on the way into town who was totally drunk, taking a piss against a wall on the bend of the pavement I was using, which is next to a busy road, so the car drivers had front-row seats of the spectacle. I spotted a huge plastic bottle of cheap cider perched precariously on the top of the wall. Ever since the recession hit, I've spotted a load more drunks in town.

one of the elevators at work dropped several floors last night.

I'm hoping that I do not have to test my theory that laying flat increases elevator drop survival rates due to distribution of force.

you have to calculate the exact speed of the falling elevator, then just a fraction of second before it reaches the ground you have to jump up. the crash will occur while you're in the air and you'll land on your feet like nothing happened.
am i right?
