As always, I am unable to get torrents to work for me, so seed this to dime if you wish.

I'll share this on Dime for you later tonight. I'm sure there will be some interest for it ;-)
I'm not really familiar with this guy, so I'll give it a listen myself as well.

Thread (semi-)hijack!

Re http://sonicyouth.utkonos.org/:

I just went on a delete rampage so the site should be free of malware and viri (nerd plural) right now. All content is still accessible, it just takes a few more mouseclicks than previously.

Next up is the laborious task of checking which FLAC filesets are corrupt, followed by shuffling things around a bit.

Upload functionality has been disabled for the time being. If you've got worthwhile stuff not on the site yet, please contact me.

If anyone has checksums for the DVDs, please contact me.

Thanks to ingram1917 for handing over dictatorship to me.

Sure, some people still snail mail trade but it's so much quicker, easier and cheaper to do it online especially if hundreds of people want to hear it...

(btw there's no seeding/leeching from the links on my blog)

I was just wondering about that, because I got shitloads of shows. to tell you the truth, it's actually a 10 page print out at 8 point font. trying to get all my masters into my computer. almost all of my master tapes have never been put out. there may be 10 of them floating around out there. and those are still on whoever I sent the cassette to. I've been trading shows since the early 90's. i actually find it easier to just have the cd mailed. i know it's more of a pain in the ass, but i really don't have the time to scour the internet for shows anymore.

thanks for that tip stu666
i will check that out (at some point)
but i'm not going to fuck up this new laptop
I've already killed a couple computers due to downloading crap
which, is the main reason why i find snail mail trades easier

this was a request of ilduclo. It's only the second and third time this band has performed live, even though they exist for some years already. Weird but interesting music indeed.

on cassette
i got some show from 1984, maybe 1985. when i got it from my grrlfriend's dad back in the early 90's, i never knew all the early songs. so it's literally been many years since i last listened to this tape. it's short, which makes me believe that it will end up being an incomplete show. WAIT A MINUTE!!!!!!!! THIS CASSETTE IS ON THE LIST OF CDS (i guess i forgot i transfered it over)

on vcd
Sonic Youth - ? June 14 02 (pro shot)

on dvd
Sonic Youth - Philipshalle Dusseldorf Germany April 7 96

this all came off a 2010 version of my list. i got 100's of new shows to add to this list, but i'll get around to it someday. but i'm sure alot of the shows i got will be floating around out there. but i've never seen SY in concert, because that would be a show i would record for sure. i was suppose to get a copy of the Toronto shows from The Eternal tour from the taper himself. but i haven't heard back from him. i even said, if it was even a 1 long track cd, i can cut it up after. i know i got a double cd show of them that was never cut into tracks.

i can copy and paste my list to a PM (that's if a PM can handle that much) because the last time i posted online (where i got these ones off of) took up 4 post (due to the limited amount of characters)
