What a fuckin shame, i was hoping they might lose their minds this afternoon but instead one of the specimens from the Ronaldo cloning project pops up and scores. Ah well, it was fun for a bit.

demonrail666 04.05.2009 04:56 PM

yeah. i was totally getting into the idea of seeing man u just completely losing the plot for the rest of the season. Although I still think that whoever wins the premier league this year will have done so largely in spite of themselves.

the ikara cult 04.05.2009 05:00 PM

can i take this opportunity to applaud your signature demonrail

Its gonna be interesting the next couple of weeks cos of the fixture pileup, that was the big win for Man U cos they got their speight of suspensions out of the way and still won, and they have an easy champions league game

I think they should introduce lightning strikes like in the F1 today.

demonrail666 04.05.2009 06:57 PM

Or a light sprinkling of rain maybe?

blunderbuss 04.06.2009 03:53 AM

Much as I hate Man U, I really hope they win the Premiership now. Although that is entirely down to the fact that I hate Liverpool even more.

demonrail666 04.06.2009 04:20 PM

So long as Chelsea don't get it, I really don't care.

blunderbuss 04.14.2009 03:25 PM

Jesus Christ - I can't believe these fucking Scousers.

EDIT - Ah, thank fuck for Frank Lampard.

jon boy 04.14.2009 03:40 PM

quite a match i hear.

blunderbuss 04.14.2009 03:42 PM

Too fucking right. But don't ask me to be coherent about it.

Danny Himself 04.14.2009 03:59 PM

I wonder if they have ITV in hell? I hope Lampard's mum got to see her son score those goals, she'd be so proud.

jon boy 04.14.2009 04:08 PM

now now. we all know that leeds should be up there and beating you all to a bloody pulp.

blunderbuss 04.14.2009 04:19 PM

Aww, don't be hard on him, he's just demonstrating that legendary Scouse wit.

_slavo_ 04.14.2009 04:21 PM

too bad ... it all looked so promising after the half-time whistle.

Danny Himself 04.14.2009 04:24 PM

Tell me about it. I was eating ice cream and everything.

jon boy 04.14.2009 04:25 PM

theres always the league.

Danny Himself 04.14.2009 04:27 PM

Ha.

_slavo_ 04.14.2009 04:31 PM

Reina should really be ashamed for the first Chelsea goal .. so should Skrtel.

the ikara cult 04.14.2009 04:57 PM

Cant believe i missed this, i met up with a friend and said we should just go to a pub with no TV as i didnt expect the game to be much of a contest. We eventually went into one just in time to see Liverpool make it 4-3. Damn

Chelsea players should be the shameful ones, that celebration was ridiculous. You'd have thought they'd won the final the way they were running around hi-fiving, hugging and shit. It was basically an own goal as well. Flids.

AURELIO'S GOAL THOUGH!? FUCKING LOL

blunderbuss 04.14.2009 05:10 PM

I can't wait to see how those "flids" fare at Camp Nou, and then at Stadio Olympico.

Danny Himself 04.14.2009 05:10 PM

Neither can I, actually.

davenotdead 04.14.2009 05:14 PM

just because Reina sucks, doesn't mean that was an own goal.

jon boy 04.14.2009 05:16 PM

its going to be an interesting one. it might be totaly boring as well though, both teams not wanting to screw up.

Danny Himself 04.14.2009 05:16 PM

He batted it into his own net. O.G.

I don't know... Drogba got a verrrrrrrry subtle touch on it. Pepe clearly didn't expect that.
Watch it from the angle of the last replay here how he moves his hands to collect the cross from Anelka and then suddenly Drogba comes flying in, changing the direction just enough for Reina to be on the wrong foot.

Liverpool did much worse defending last week in my opinion.

Chelsea v Barcelona is going to be another cracker in two weeks time. Looking forward to it.

the ikara cult 04.14.2009 05:22 PM

At least now the Title race is likely to be alot closer, not having to play Gerrard every 3 days. I dont think i really care about the Champs league now.

davenotdead 04.14.2009 05:27 PM

he did not "bat it" Danny. he simply did not stop it.

the momentum was still clearly from Anelka, Drogba altered it and Reina did not stop it. that's not an OG. thanks for the vid Pokke, I looked at it again to be sure.

pokkeherrie 04.14.2009 05:28 PM

Barcelona are playing the most exciting football in Europe right now.
I'd much rather watch them than having to see fucking United grab the Premier League title once again.

davenotdead 04.14.2009 05:29 PM

i can't stand a bunch of the dirty hispanics on that team.... love messi though... he is the best player in the game. and I love Bojan

pokkeherrie 04.14.2009 05:36 PM

I hear you.
It's not all gold, but those forwards do it for me. Messi, Henry and Eto'o... pfff.
Together they scored 85 goals this season!

Death & the Maiden 04.14.2009 08:30 PM

I missed Liverpool's game this morning. I set my alarm, but I'd stayed up late reading a book, so when it went off I just fell back asleep. I went on Liverpool's website, and there was about 20 Hillsborough stories, so I thought that they hadn't played. Looks like it was good that I missed it.

jon boy 04.21.2009 03:53 PM

looks like its all over.

jon boy 04.21.2009 03:57 PM

or not! quite a match by the looks of things.

blunderbuss 04.21.2009 06:04 PM

If only the ref could've blown the final whistle a bit earlier...

Danny Himself 04.21.2009 06:14 PM

Hush yo gums.

jon boy 04.21.2009 06:15 PM

its on portsmouth. i am not a portsmouth fan.

Florya 05.05.2009 08:31 AM

Any predictions for tonight?

2-0 to The Arsenal would suit me just fine.

demonrail666 05.05.2009 10:56 AM

I'd like to see the Arse get through but can't honestly see it. I'm going 2-0 Manure.

I sense a 0-0 draw tonight
More importantly i fear Chelsea winning 1-0 tomorrow, and i hope for a repeat of the Real-Barca massacre on Saturday.

the ikara cult 05.05.2009 03:48 PM

pff shows how much i know
