yeah, i know; i like finger tapping like ian williams of battles/ex-don cab, mick bar of orthrelm and, of course, brian gibson of lightning bolt use tappings, but for soloing...it pretty much sucks.

all van halen's solos are always the same: tapping, whammy bar action and some bending the notes and that's about it.
