On a hip hop related note, the new Mos Def is a return to form for him, redemption.
|
I'm enjoying the Calmer EP a lot. Jazztronica at its finest

mos def is boring. i hate all that spiritual rap shit, sounds too forced it you ask me. public enemy was more "spiritual" than those groups will ever be, and they didn't have to act like wimps.
|
I'm sorry, but Black Star and Black On Both Sides are great albums. Nothing forced about them.
The Ecstatic is decent, but yeah, is a little generic. I prefer the new Busdriver. |
Oh, and is anyone else digging Of Bonds In General by Axolotl? I listened to it once and was pretty impressed.
|
I dig the new busdriver
|

Honestly, this William Basinski album is amazing. I like it way more than The Disintegration Loops series put together haha.
Oh and the new Experimental Dental School is great. I don't like it as much as the old shit but nice to know they're progressing! |

I don't know them but that's an awful band name. |

I don't see anything wrong with it. And it's not a band, it's one guy. A rap artist. |
yeah, Busdriver is fucking awesome.
|
Dia by Amen Dunes strikes me as probably the best album to lay on the floor and watch the ceiling fan to in 2009 so far.
