What's that Haino one like? I have been thinking of getting it but umming and ahhing.

Also, what do you make of the new Charalambides? I have listened to it a couple of times and it is not grabbing me at all....

Anyway, today I got:

Sunroof!/Mouthus/Double Leopards - Crippled Rosebud Binding 2xlp
Flaherty/Corsano - Empty Bottle lp
MV/EE - qbico picture disc.

Haven't listened to them all but the mv/ee is really nice and one half of the Sunroof! side is awesome.

Sonic Youth - Dirty (Deluxe Edition)

Onani Nic 07.02.2006 06:46 AM

Big few days, bought a bunch of stuff at a Wolf Eyes show as an autralian mail order store sound and fury had a stall (check them out at soundanfury.com.au they often might have stuff that is sold out elsewhere and are also a record label putting out cool shit from around the world such as yellow swans, starving weirdos. Plus the aussie dollar isn't worth shit meaning more value for you).

Heil Spirits CD-R
Starving Weirdos- Seance at Luffenhulz
Prurient/Akitsa Split

Eyehategod- Dopesick
Slugfuckers- Cacophony
Firewitch- Critter/Kritta 3" CD-R (sounds like an instrumental melvins with two bassists and a drummer, hott shit from australia)

I do love parts and labor but squaring them up with unwound? New plastic ideas or future of what could take stay afraid anyday still. But parts and labor are deffinitely going places.

nomadicfollower 07.04.2006 06:29 PM

Ordered a copy of Cell Scape today.

Iain 07.04.2006 06:34 PM

Ordered a copy of This is... and 3rd Gatekeeper by Skullflower.

acousticrock87 07.04.2006 07:14 PM

And some YYY single for 99 cents because I've never really listened to them intentionally. 4 songs for a buck, can't go wrong. I feel now it's only worth about 50 cents, though.

HaydenAsche 07.04.2006 07:22 PM

La For?t was decent. Probably the best release of last year.

Get Knife Play.

acousticrock87 07.04.2006 07:24 PM

That's actually what I went to get. But there's a parade outside the record store, and Best Buy only had this. I like the more abrasive stuff like Don Diasco and I Broke Up. I like this, though.

HaydenAsche 07.04.2006 07:25 PM

Ahh. I feel ya.

Daycare Nation 07.04.2006 07:38 PM

The Way of The Vaselines
Laura Veirs, Year of Meteors
Blonde Redhead, Fake Can Be Just as Good
Andrew Bird & the Mysterious Production of Eggs
Eau Claire

...and I got a nice speeding ticket today, woooo

HaydenAsche 07.04.2006 07:42 PM

I picked up Tapes n' Tapes - The Loon today. Good album.

umjammer atomsk 07.04.2006 08:07 PM

Cool. So you have Clockwork and 2001 now. I haven't been to 1/2 price in months, they always have awesome stuff.
