in other news,

scissor shock just finished a new 17-minute ep entitled "you're all slime". i'll post it a link for download here soon. it is mainly acoustic guitar, accordian, trombone, and drum machine. it sounds way different than anything else we've done. very folky in parts.

hune.prut 06.17.2007 04:29 AM

The name of my (our) band i Mislyd. (A Danish word).
I play the bass. It's some kind of alternative rock... I think.
Link in my signature.

More songs (there's always the "repeat" button for too short songs, but this one sounds just about right with the actual running time).
Thanks for the nice words on the tribute project. I'd like all you guys who listened to it to comment on the tracks in the proper thread, if you feel like doing it.

See you all at the Berkeley 7/19 Daydream show, we're making a band field trip cause my drummer has never seen my favorite band live. Doesn't automatically make him a bad person, but it doesn't help either.

valid 07.14.2007 05:52 PM

i have one, had one, need one now and then. Over the last year i've gone through 2 drummers, 3 bassists, and 5 "guitarists". It's hard to find good help, so i record record record

i am from central jersey and i have the same problem with all these "emo" "punks" who wanna play covers of MCR and Silverstein and all that other junk... :fuckyou: haha.

i'm in a band, and i play guitar/sing/piano. we just recorded our first demo type thing, and we're actually about to play to about 800-1000 people at the Stone Pony (outdoor for the summer shows :)).

here's our myspace click :p

if you don't like it, we're actually looking to move into a different direction with our music (like two bassist, more obscure instruments and sounds)

come check us out July 29th at the Stone Pony if you'd like 20$ ahead

cheers :)

I made some music tonight/this morning and I kind of like it (first time that's happened!) Excuse my suckiness, but I even made a myspace.

Recorded with loop pedal + home made thumb piano thingy and fiddle.

This might actually be terrible. Haven't slept in 2 days plus druuuunk.
You've been warned.

I haven't left my links in a long time.

Lamerca is a proyect in which my neighbour sings and I play bass guitar (you won't hear it on the recordings that appear on myspace because those are the demos she did with our coach, Victor. She's some kind of pop. Lyrics like Lilly Allen's and Liz Phair's.

Big Science is a proyect I have with my friend Mike from New Jersey. He recently came to Buenos Aires and we are working on songs for our 2nd album.

Epoxi & the Jellycats is just me.

http://www.myspace.com/therealzombiewarrior - My horror movie jam band. The only stuff we have on there is the first time we played, so forgive. We've got some new stuff to mix though (just from big jams)

http://www.myspace.com/enenmoore - Solo thing, more horror movie themes, mixed with drum n bass in areas. Just a mess around thing really.

And I have a solo thing I'm doing and a band. Busy busy.

You know, as much as I've advertised on this board, I dunno if I ever replied here. Yeah, my band Scissor Shock! I advertise it at the bottom of every message! We've had an album on Crucial Blast. We're better now! We sound like .. if Captain Beefheart was some 21-year-old kid who loved no wave and glitch.

I'm also in ROBE., we're doing a split with the Goslings and we have a split with Warmth out. It's doom drone crap.

hahaha this is me and my uncle jamming out to the mighty stooges in 2006. It was hillarious, cause it sounded so bad (cause it was probably the first time we ever played together.

yeah the audio is bad cause it was transfered from video so there's this weird tapping thing going on...
